CONSTITUTION AND MISSION

The Charity's Objects To advance the Christian Religion in Shifnal and District in the County of Shropshire by drawing the Churches in that area together into greater understanding and unity, enabling member Churches to share more fully in the ecumenical movement, enabling member Churches to bear a more united witness in the community and serve it more effectively, and by making such expression of their common faith and devotion as may from time to time be found desirable. (as approved by the Charity Commissioners) The Charity Number for Churches Together in Shifnal is-: 1103258

Our mission is to maintain a Christian presence through the drop in Shop. To show love and compassion to all, to be available to help any who are in need.
To supply Christian literature and cards and to provide the welcome cup of tea or coffee.
 

We also have a vision of being able to serve the youth of Shifnal in some way.
We now have volunteers from all the Churches and the spirit of unity is very evident.

Future events are planned as social occasions and to raise money for the ongoing work of Oasis see the News Page.
